Seating List
At the wedding reception, your guests will need to know their seating allocation by checking the seating list, which is usually displayed on an easel or perhaps in a frame. Sometimes the venue supplies the lists – if not, we can help!
A1 is the usual size – see photo left; the ruler is 60cm. However we can supply A2 (half the size of an A1) or A0 (double the size of A1) either on poster paper or printed and mounted onto PVC. These large sizes take up to 48 hours to produce, so you need to have your seating allocations finalised about a week before the wedding. If you prefer, you can have us do the layout (PDF in any dimensions) and organise the printing yourselves. See here for the ‘PDF only’ option.
Option 1: Guests’ names arranged by table
(Most popular) The guests’ names are grouped by the table they’re sitting at. In this way, once they have found their name, they can see who else is at the same table.
We can provide you with the seating list artwork for taking to your own printer, or we can organise the printing/mounting for you, either in portrait or landscape orientation.
We need to give our off-site printers at least 48 hours to produce the lists, so please bear this in mind when ordering.

Option 2: Guests’ names organised alphabetically
(Most suitable for large weddings) We can provide you with the seating list artwork for taking to your own printer, or we can organise the printing/mounting for you.
We need to give our off-site printers at least 48 hours to produce the lists, so please bear this in mind when ordering.

Option 3: Separate small cards for each table
The guests’ names are grouped by the table they’re sitting at. In this way, once they have found their name, they can see who else is at the same table.
Each list of guests’ names per table is printed on a separate small card – the size of the card depends on how many people at each table. A6 size (105 x 148mm) is the most popular.
Reception venues often mount these separate cards in a frame, or attach them with little pegs to strings on a cork board or mirror. The way they are displayed is up to you and your wedding coordinator!
The advantages to having smaller cards are that they are easy to transport to the venue and also if there are any last-minute changes to your guest list, you’d only need to reprint perhaps one or two small cards.

Note: For this option, we do not supply backing boards, mirrors, pegs or string for hanging – our price is just for the small printed cards – you are responsible for how they are displayed.
