PARKING: There are parking spots just around the corner in Whaling Road and surrounding streets – some spots are metered, some are 30 minute or 1 hour zones on weekdays. On Saturdays the limits don’t apply so you can park anywhere in those metered spots or zones.
DIRECTIONS: If driving, put “Whaling Road” into your GPS.
- From the North – Use Pacific Highway ONLY. Come all the way down to High Street and go straight, heading towards Kirribilli – look for a slip road to the left (before the roundabout) where you can access Whaling Road.
- From the South – Come across the Harbour Bridge (use North Sydney Pacific Highway exit) and turn right into High Street heading towards Kirribilli – look for a slip road to the left (just before the roundabout) where you can access Whaling Road.
- From North Sydney CBD (on foot) – You can still walk across the freeway at Mount Street straight to the building. All traffic on the Mount Street overpass goes to the Harbour Bridge.
Warringah Freeway Upgrade roadworks are in full swing at the moment, and there are temporary road closures which will be in effect until mid-2025. Most notably, the Alfred Street/North Sydney exit from the freeway (southbound) is now CLOSED, as is Alfred St North from Neutral Bay. Please allow extra time for your trip if you’re coming in!
