Option 2: Printed place cards

We can print the names and even an extra small image on your wedding place cards. All you do is select the colour and style of place card you’d like: Classic (the ones with the foil borders) – or plain. Then, choose a font for the names to be printed in – we can send you some to choose from – and provide us with your guest list. It usually only takes a day or two, depending on our production schedule. We’ll always send you a proof with a sample name first, so you can check how it looks.

You can put your guests’ full names on the place cards, or just their first names. For people with the same first name, you can differentiate them by adding the initial of their surname if you wish, but this isn’t really necessary unless they’re sitting at the same table.

Average price for printed wedding place cards is around $1.40 each for the plain ones, $1.90 each for the ones with foil borders, but is dependent on quantity. For most orders we produce around 100 place cards at a time. Expect to pay more for small numbers – and note the minimum order is 20 – because there is a print set-up fee built into these prices, which applies regardless of quantity. Conversely, of course, this means that for larger volumes, the cost per card works out less than the average.
