For most formal sit-down meals, place cards are a must, and a wedding reception is usually such an occasion.
In many cases the reception venue will provide menus and perhaps even a seating plan, but you will usually need to organise place cards yourselves. Choose blank or printed – see options below.
Option 1: DIY Blank cards
The “Classic” ones (with borders) are our own exclusive range, available in ivory, white and cream and cost 80c each blank. They’re also available in white with a silver or gold foiled border or cream with a gold border. These are pictured: front right – ivory embossed, centre – cream/gold, centre right – cream embossed, back 2nd from left – white/silver, back 2nd from right – white/gold, back right white embossed.
You can also have a plain tent-style card (pictured on the left – front to back: ivory, cream, white). They are available in matte, pearlised and textured finishes in many different colours. Plain cards (without borders) cost around 50c each, depending on the stock, or you can buy them in packs of 25 to save even more.
For printed place cards, see below.
